गीतों के मुखौटे
giton ke mukhaute
अपने इतिहास के नाम पर,
कीचड़ में धँसे देश में,
भूख जब उसे क़ाबू कर लेती है
वह खा लेता है अपना माथा।
मर जाता है।
मौसम कभी पता नहीं लगाते वजह का।
वह मर जाता है गीतों के अनंत मुखौटों के पीछे।
एकमात्र वफ़ादार बीज,
वह अकेला रहता है जीवन की गहराई में।
