मैं बहुत धीरे-धीरे चल रहा था,
इतना धीरे
कि उसे चलना भी नहीं कहा जा सकता।
इतना धीरे
कि उसे धीरे भी नहीं कहा जा सकता।
मैं फिर से
वैसे ही हू-ब-हू चलना चाहता हूँ,
यह जानते हुए
कि यह मुमकिन नहीं,
क्योंकि वह चलना था ही नहीं।
कुछ और था—
चलने के अलावा
दो पैरों से
और क्या हो सकता था?
इतना निश्चित है,
मैं खड़ा नहीं था।
