बारिश के बारीक ब्यौरों में मत जाओ
यह बादलों के तिरछे होने का दुर्लभ समय है
जाओ और अपनी परछाई के साथ
नाचो एक बढ़िया नाच
किसी कलात्मक रूपक की तरह
इस भीगे हुए समय के निर्दोष गीलेपन को
घर में सजाओ जगह-जगह
देखो उस अकेली और चुपचाप औरत को
जो घुटनों पर सिर रखकर बैठी है
उसके क़रीब जाओ
और हो सके तो
आहिस्ते से पाेंछ दो उसकी जमी हुई उदासी
उसके दुर्लभ शब्द बचाओ
भविष्य की कविताओं के बेहतर शिल्प के लिए
काँपते हाथों वाले उस आदमी से मिलो
अपना गर्म हाथ
उसके कंधों पर रखो आहिस्ते से
इस तरह छुओ उसके भीतर बची ऊष्मा को
और देखो दिलासे से पैदा हुई
उसके चेहरे की चमक को
इस अद्भुत प्रकाश को बचाओ
आने वाले अँधेरे समय के लिए...
barish ke barik byauron mein mat jao
ye badlon ke tirchhe hone ka durlabh samay hai
jao aur apni parchhai ke sath
nacho ek baDhiya nach
kisi kalatmak rupak ki tarah
is bhige hue samay ke nirdosh gilepan ko
ghar mein sajao jagah jagah
dekho us akeli aur chupchap aurat ko
jo ghutnon par sir rakhkar baithi hai
uske qarib jao
aur ho sake to
ahiste se paenchh do uski jami hui udasi
uske durlabh shabd bachao
bhawishya ki kawitaon ke behtar shilp ke liye
kanpte hathon wale us adami se milo
apna garm hath
uske kandhon par rakho ahiste se
is tarah chhuo uske bhitar bachi ushma ko
aur dekho dilase se paida hui
uske chehre ki chamak ko
is adbhut parkash ko bachao
ane wale andhere samay ke liye
