आए दिन / बीमारी में अधरझूल
हिलोरे खाती है—दादी।
ये हिलोरे / पूरे ही समझो अब
लेकिन मन नहीं भरता दादी का।
दादी! तुम्हें जीवन से क्यों हैं
इतना लगाव?
अब क्या बचा बाक़ी / जबकि तुम्हारे बच्चे भी
ऊब गए हैं नाक रखते-रखते
गली-गुवाड़ के डर से।
भाई, दादी की तरह दुनिया ही
खा रही है हिलोरे।
